ALOHA!

THE 19TH HAWAI‘I BOOK & MUSIC FESTIVAL is returning in-person on the beautiful campus of UH Manoa, on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, 2024, 10 am-5 pm. The festival is totally free.

Parking is FREE in the main Parking Structure Saturday until 3 pm, and FREE all day Sunday.

PLEASE NOTE!

We lost three weeks of preparation time when we had to change the date because of a UH event scheduled that would have absorbed all the parking. Normally we would put the entire schedule up at once. But people seeing an empty website were beginning to ask if there is actually going to be a festival. So we decided to put up what was ready and build the rest out as fast as possible, even as other simltaneous tasks (like social media messaging) had to start simultaneously. There are about 140 events total. Authors and Panelists, please rest assured, and assure your 'ohana, that we will list all of you just as soon as we can.

THE PROGRAM SCHEDULE

There are 125+ events: Authors, Main Stage, Keiki Stage, Performance Stage, and the Always Dream Reading Corner.

Register just once, then simply click on every event you wish to attend. You can synch your choices to your calendar, and you can send them to your friends, so they can join you.

You don’t have to register, but registrants will have priority admission.
